America and the UN Earth Charter
In this Prophetic Messenger newsletter, we will talk about how our times are similar to the times described in Romans 1. In Romans 1, the apostle Paul said that the Romans worshipped the creature more than the Creator. We are now seeing this in America through the public schools, universities and state and federal government agencies all across the nation.

New Global Ethic
The third area that the United Nations legislative body is influencing the world in is through a new global ethic called the earth charter. From their web site at www.earthcharter.org, section titled "What is the Earth Charter?"(Note 9) it states
"The Earth Charter is an authoritative synthesis of values, principles, and aspirations that are widely shared by growing numbers of men and women in all regions of the world. The principles of the Earth Charter reflect extensive international consultations conducted over a period of many years. These principles are also based upon contemporary science, international law, and the insights of philosophy and religion. Successive drafts of the Earth Charter were circulated around the world for comments and debate by nongovernmental organizations, community groups, professional societies, and international experts in many fields." The real goal is stated clearly in an interview with Maurice Strong. Mr. Strong is Chairman of the Earth Council and Co-Chair of the Earth Charter Commission. In an interview conducted March 5, 1998, titled "Maurice Strong on a "People's Earth Charter"(Note 10) he says "But, let us be very clear, the UN action is not going to be the only goal. The real goal of the Earth Charter is that it will in fact become like the Ten Commandments, like the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It will become a symbol of the aspirations and the commitments of people everywhere. And, that is where the political influence, where the long-term results of the Earth Charter will really come."
The goal of the United Nations is to replace the Ten Commandments with the Earth Charter. Satan hates God's laws and we are seeing the attack on the Ten Commandments in our own country. They have put this earth charter in an ark of hope which is total blasphemy and is a counterfeit to when God told Moses to make an ark of the covenant and put the book of the law in it. This earth charter is pagan worship of the earth and is demonic at it's roots.
Paul shows it clearly about the people who worship the creatures in Romans 1:18-25 where it says "18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shown it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen."
In closing, in Mark 4:22 it says “For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.” We see how the Lord revealed the plan of satan over 20 years ago. The name has changed from Earth Charter to Global Warning, Climate Change, New Green Deal, etc. but it is the same message. We will continue to share what the apostle Paul said to the Romans and show how it relates to the state of America.
